Why We Started Heya Foundation
A father's love for his daughter became a mission for every child without one.
Named after
Heya, age 9 ❤️
Heya Foundation is named after Heya — a bright, curious 9-year-old girl who is the heart of our family. Her parents, Jithendra and Rachana, watched her grow up with every opportunity: a loving home, good food, a school she loves, and the freedom to play and dream.
But not every child has that. Millions of orphan and underprivileged children grow up without basic needs met, without a school to attend, without the simple joy of playing a sport. That gap — between what Heya has and what so many children don't — is what moved Jithendra and Rachana to act.
Heya Foundation exists to close that gap, one child at a time. Every child we support is a child who deserves the same love, safety, and opportunity that Heya has.

Founder
Driven by the belief that every child deserves the same opportunities as his daughter Heya, Jithendra founded the foundation and leads its outreach and community partnerships.
Rachana S.
Co-Founder
Rachana brings warmth and purpose to everything the foundation does — from program design to the relationships built with every child we support.
